* requires SMTP authentication.
To set SMTP authentication
with Outlook Express, open your Outlook Express >
your email account "Properties" > click
on the "Server tab" > under "Outgoing
Mail Server" section, put a check mark on the "My
server requires authentication".
**
Some ISPs such as Sprint and Sympatico block their
clients from using
port 25. Please switch to use port 587 if you plan
to use our SMTP servers to send out emails. However
you
may want to use their provided SMTP servers to send
out your emails instead.
***
For Norton AntiVirus, one must disable the "scan
outgoing mail" feature in order for SMTP (SSL)
to work (a bug of Norton AntiVirus). |
