One of Mecca's resolutions in 2006 is to give back to the community. We will not be able to do this without the support from you from around the world. In this spirit, we launched The Mecca eHosting.ca Foundation. We would like to let you know what our foundation has been up to.

GreyHaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary
eHosting.ca is a proud sponsor of Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary. Based in Surrey, BC, they specialize in companion parrot adoptions and refuge. Their are a non-profit society providing cares for unwanted, injured, orphaned, abused, neglected, and abandoned companion birds.

FarmWonders
eHosting.ca is a proud sponsor of UBC Farm: Farm Wonders. FarmWonders is an innovative, educational and fun student-run community education initiative committed to promoting environmental awareness through science-based farm learning.

McGill Cancer Society
The McGill Cancer Society is an official unit office of the Canadian Cancer Society. This society holds a variety of events for the purpose of fundraising and non-fundraising, and to gain public awareness.

In the upcoming new year, the McGill Cancer Society will focus on establishing Quebec University Cancer Federation/Fédération De Cancer D'Université Du Québec, of which Mecca will be the domain and web hosting sponsor.

The main project of the federation is to establish cancer societies within Quebec universities and to organize larger fundraising and non-fundraising events with the societies and communities.


Canadian Blood Services
We are a proud sponsor of the Canadian Blood Services. This sponsorship campaign runs from Nov 29 to Dec 12, 2004 and can be heard on a Vancouver local radio station AM 650. “Please give the gift of life in this holiday season, roll up your sleeves to donate”

UNICEF
Mecca is now in support of UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund). Throughout the month of November, with every purchase of our hosting packages, $1.00 will be donated to UNICEF. We at Mecca eHosting.ca appreciate the work and contributions made by UNICEF and wish to take part in helping children in need.

Student Hosting
Since the summer of 2001, Mecca has been in hosting-sponsorship with many student clubs across Canada.
