In order to your website to be functional after your account has been setup and/or your domain has been transferred, please be sure to change/point the DNS of your domain to our nameserver settings. Please contact your initial domain registrar or to log onto their domain panel to perform such DNS change. FYI, our nameserver settings are listed as below:

Please allow 48-72 hours for such change to become fully propagated to our servers.

FYI, you can create up to five websites on SmartLemon plan and ten websites on CityOrange plan.

Please note that there will be a $15.00 (CND) one-time charge for each multiple domain you add.

Once you have clicked on the file that is your image, simply click on "add" button –> “Return to Site”. This will replace the empty text box with the path to your image file.

To add text to your image, click on the picture again and fill in your desired content. After you click the "apply" button at the bottom of the page, the information will be uploaded. To resize the image, click on the “Change Image” button on the same page --> select the “Image Resize” --> selects the desired percentage size of the image --> Click “Resize” --> “use this image”.

You will have 14 days after transaction date to decide if you want to continue with your website purchase or receive a full refund less a $15 administrative fee less any applicable handling fees. After the account has been active for 14 days, Mecca will provide partial refund of the hosting fee which deduct the following items: (Canadian $15 administration fee, any applicable cheque charges, 3 months hosting service fee). After the 3 months, no refunds will be issued. No returns can be made on special services, custom products or domain name registrations. Site2Go website contents are non-recoverable after account removal. No exceptions can be granted.

We do offer a full-featured tutorial which will provide you a full walk through of all of the features available to you prior to purchasing this service. We will gladly answer any pre-sale question you have. Please make sure that any questions you have are addressed before you buy a web site.

No, we do not require a credit card to activate your account. You may choose to use personal/business cheque or money order.

By default, our signup wizard only take credit card as the payment method. However, you can by-pass the payment area by typing "cheque" via the credit card numbers field. Please be sure to fill out your contact, loginID/password and your (registered or to be registered) domain name.

Our billing staffs will contact you via email in regards to your payment and our mailing address shortly after your order form is submitted.

Mecca must receive your payment within 10 calendar days after your order is submitted or your order will be canceled. Hosting account shall be activated upon processing the cheque/money order payment. Please allow 1 business day for order processing after Mecca receives your payment.

Once placing an order for Site2Go website builder, you will have access to your account within 24 hours after receipt of payment. However, it may take up to 48-72 hours for your new or transferred domain name to become "live" on the World Wide Web. This is time-frame is referred to as propagation, which refers to the period needed for all DNS servers around the globe to obtain and update information regarding your new domain (e.g., where it lives).

You will receive a welcome email once the setup process is complete. Once your account is set up, you will be able to log into our Site2Go website builder control panel and create your site. All accounts are verified manually before setting up in order to avoid fraud and maintain the integrity of our servers for all of our customers.

If you do not receive an email from us within 24hrs of signing up, please email us at support@mecca.ca. Please include your domain name and contact information in your email.

Non-commerical/profit websites can be submitted to major search engines at no charge through http://www.zeal.com.

To submit your site to Google at no charge (no placement guaranteed), please visit http://www.google.com/addurl.html.

To submit your site to Yahoo at no charge (no placement guaranteed), please visit http://docs.yahoo.com/info/suggest.

For others just go to your favorite search engine and look for an "Add URL" link somewhere on the page. Then click that and submit your site using their form. Some search engines, however, like Yahoo, can charge hundreds of dollars to get registered and they do not guarantee that your site will ever be returned in any search results.

No, our focus is on offering a complete website, email and hosting solution. You must acquire your own Internet access. We would suggest a provider that includes an SMTP service.

Answer:
Please make sure that you have published your site appropriately. To publish your website, please 1) go to “publish” tab, 2) select www 3) select your domain name , and 4) enter your desired folder name.

**Please make sure the status of your site is shown as "online" on the "site" tab.

83. I lost my password in my password-protected Gallery. How can I retrieve it?

Answer:
1) Please contact us at support@mecca.ca to retrieve your password.

2) You can re-assign a new password in our Site2Go control panel. Please go to “properties” of the Gallery page, and click on the name of your gallery. In the "password protection", you can assign a new password for your gallery.

After you have changed your password, please enable your gallery and publish your site once again.

84. I can’t add new pages?

You have reached the maximum number of pages in one website. FYI, you can have up to 50 custom pages for SmartLemon Plan, and 100 custom pages for CityOrange Plan.

Don’t worry. Everything will be saved automatically in your account. Please reconnect your internet service, and continue on what you were working.

You can’t see your Gallery because it is currently disabled. To enable your Gallery, please go to “manage” > “edit” of the Gallery page. Please be sure that you have ticked the box showing “enable”, and then publish you site once again.

You are not able to edit the pictures of your theme.

Account orders are placed in queue and are processed in the order of which they are received. A new account will take 12 to 24 hrs to become activated.

If you have forgotten your password, your username and password are included in the welcome email that were sent to your admin email address after your hosting account is setup.

Please go to the “site” tab, and click on the “offline” button for the site. Your website will become online right away.

No. You must have your own domain for Site2Go.

Just like Hotmail, our Webmail application allows you to send, read and manage your mail from any web browser. Those that would like to use other mail programs such as Eudora or Outlook Express can access their mail this way also.
