: : Domain Registrations Inquiries : I try to register a .CA domain name, but I got a "Legal Type" Error message.

Question:	When I try to register a .CA domain name, I received a "Legal Type" Error message. Why?
Answer:	Should your registration order be denied due to an error message: "According to the legal type selected as "Canadian Citizen", this Registrant must be an individual NOT its company name. The system does not recognize the Registrant's name as the name of an individual". , this implies that you have entered the wrong information in the "organization field". If you select the legal type as "Canadian Citizen", you must write your "full first and last name" in the "organization name" field. If you select the legal type as a "Corporation or Registered Charity (Canada or Canadian province or territory)", you must put your company name ending with "LTD." or "INC." in the "organization name" field.
